You need to understand your permit first. discuss with your council if you have some special desires about your vehicle crossing: such as some council's doesn't allow to reinforce the vehicle crossing. Also various councils specify the vehicle differently.

You need to specify everything with the concreters within the price (in general you need to get three quotes at least):
~ supply crush rock base in your crossing
~ supply concrete, what thickness?
~ Supply RF 82 reinforcing
~ Supply strength concrete: what strength, 32 MPA or 25 MPA
~ Supply non slip finish to top
~ excavation
~ removal of unwanted material
~ satisfy all requirements from the council

The council will inspect after excavation. You need to make sure all requirements from the council would be met.

Any questions?

I would suggest you to ask concreter writing down all the promise. It doesn't mean they're not trustable, but to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Sometimes, the concreter just wrote down "meet all council's reg". You need to understand what the council's regulations are.

Bear in mind, footpath is council's responsibility for any damage repairing, however, the vehicle crossing is your responsibility to repair if any damages would occur. You want to minimize the potential damage, and you need to specify in detail at first place.

Good luck!

My friend just completed her footpath and vehicle crossing, and she said the concreter she has used is very good. She has strongly recommended me to use this concreter. The contact details:
