Offer: First lesson FREE. Book in a lesson to see if I am the right teacher for you. No obligation to continue. Sevices: HSC music help, Graded exam preparation, Music Theory study/exams, leisurely learning. Age: from 3.5yrs old to adult. Facilities: private studio backing on to bush with bathroom and kitchenette and lounge. Ceiling fans and portable air conditioning unit. Equipment: baby grand piano, digital piano, and various other instruments. Computer, ipad, white board and of course traditional pencil and paper! I understand the need for music students to not only enjoy their instrument in performance, but to learn and embrace music as a whole. Including reading fluency, aural skills, understanding of varied music styles/genres and to be able to gain the skills to compose their own music if they wish. I am always trying innovative methods of teaching that are fun, hands on and interactive with other students (if possible). Students that discover music in a fun and natural way are more likely to take their own initiative to stick to the commitment of learning music for life.
