Using Java script to hide ASP.NET controls dynamically on the client side

In the markup file (.aspx), add Jave function doHide():
Code:
function doHide()
{
  //document.all("YourControlId").style.display = "none";
  //more generic
  document.getElementById("YourControlId").style.display = "none";
}
function doShow()
{
  //document.all("YourControlId").style.display = "inline";
  //more generic
  document.getElementById("YourControlId").style.display = "inline";
}

Then set the OnClientClick property of the ASP.NET control to "doHide()".
